A standard multiplex on the 3rd level of a shopping mall in Nanshan District of Shenzhen, accessed by a series of escalators or a Roman style spiral staircase…8 screens plus a VIP hall all of which seem to have 2D-3D capability.

Seating is stadium style in leather rocking chairs - the seat numbers are cleverly printed on the seat backs.

Towards the back there is a display of old movie making equipment, what appears to be a tribute wall of movie stars and the usual cardboard standees of coming attractions. There is also a cafe and VIP lounge.

As a movie going experience this was above average in terms of comfort and projection…caught an 11:00 am show of “The Revenant” in English (the film itself was also much better than I expected and deserving of its awards).
