Ritz Cinema

Located in Tullamore, County Offaly. The Ritz Cinema was built in 1946 at a cost of £30,000. It was opened on 12th June 1946 with Gregory peck in “Keys to the Kingdom”. It closed on 7th August 1980 with Robert Redford in “The Electric Horseman”. In 1982 most of the building was demolished apart from the front right-hand wing which is occupied by Sean Joyce auctioneers.
