On March 27, 1998, Cinemark opened what, at the time, was the largest movie theatre in Utah in a single building. The 30,000 square foot Tinseltown USA at Newgate Mall has fourteen screens with almost 3,173 seats. The theaters range in size from 154 to 290. There are two seperate concession areas and three differnt sets of rest rooms.

The Tinseltown USA replaced an older four-screen discount theater at the mall.
