IMC Kilkenny

Opened as the Omniplex on 17th August 1998 with “The Truman Show” one of the first films to be screened. The head projectionist was reportedly Anthony Hogan, who had worked at the Regent Cinema which closed the week before. The cinema was rebranded IMC following the division of cinemas between the Ward and Anderson families in 2013. The IMC is a four-screen multiplex.
