The Waukegan Outdoor Theater, as this drive-in was originally called, opened in 1936, said to have been the first in the Chicagoland area. There was space for about 900 cars.
It closed in 1982, and was torn down a few years later to make way for industrial development.

Above address is incorrect. The location is east of this @ Skokie Hwy just north of Washington, Use 101 Ambrogio Drive to map.
