The Drive-In was opened by 1954. By 1955 it was re-named Canadian Drive-In and was operated by C.L. Lance. In 1956 it was taken over by Frank F. McMordie. It was closed in 1979.

site is vacant, ramps can be seen on Google Earth and the concession building looks like its still standing.

Boxoffice, July 14, 1956: “C. L. Lance has sold the Palace Theatre and Canadian Drive-In in Canadian, Tex., to Frank F. McMordie. Booking for the two theatres will be handled by the A&O Booking Service”
