Hollywood Metroplex Kinos notes that in 1959 Ferdinand Purner rebuilt the old Metropol adding modern conveniences. In 1969 his daughter Ingrid joined the family business and became managing director in 1979. Since 1995 Hollywood Metroplex has expanded to Pasching, St. Pölten, and Vienna, and is managed by Ingrid and Heinz Hueber.

Today the Metropol Kino, Innsbruck has nine screens and 1,574 seats. It is equipped with Dolby Atmos sound, RealD 3D, 35mm in one auditorium and High Frame Rate projection on the 480-seat screen.
