The Texas Drive-In was located at the 300 block of W. Highway 84 with a 200 car capacity. The theater opened in March 1953 with Alton Parker as the manager. The drive-in closed in the mid-1970’s. A tornado came through and did severe damage to the drive in and it was repaired. The last owner was Jim Williams.
