Built for the American Paramount Pictures Inc and their Eurpopean Paramount Theatres chain. The Paramount Theatre was opened in 1928 and was designed by local Toulouse architect Robert Armandary with the Paramount Theatres European consultant architect Frank T. Beverley on London, UK. The cinema had two balconies.

During World War II it was used by the German army as a soldatenkino (soldiers cinema).

The Paramount Theatre was closed on 31st December 1963 and has been demolished, although the facade may have survived?
