The Grand Theatre was opened by 1914. A 1916 Sanborn shows a theatre operating in the three story brick building at 623-625. There is a fairly deep stage and a deep flat fronted balcony. The storefront at 623 was occupied by an undertaker. On the 1911 map the location is occupied by a rambling complex of wooden buildings including the undertaker. The Grand Theatre had closed by 1926. The ground floor received a remodel sometime around 1950, and while most of the building appears vacant, the storefront at 623 is occupied by a junk shop/tanning salon.
