The Theater Apollo opened as a cinema in 1908. It went through several name changes over the years, before becoming the Zentral Lichtspiel in 1940 under German occupation. In 1945 it was re-named Wolnosc (Freedom) Kino. In the 1950’s it was re-named Kino Muza (Muse).

In 2018 it recieved a major renovation by Toya Design, which included adding two screens and renovating the original auditorium, which now has 175 seats. It re-opened in July 2019.
