Located in the centre district of St. Georg. The Hammonia Variete was screening movies as part of the variety show from 1900 to 1925. The projectors were by the automatic machines exhibition Edison Saal operated by Kubrow. The Edison Saal at Kubrows exhibition was the first permanent cinema in Hamburg and it was closed in December 1899 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Hammoni Variete was operated by the brothers Wolf. In 1927 cinema was closed and demolished.
