Located in the city centre district of Altstadt. In 1971 3 restaurants named Wallhof, Tegernhof & Spoekendeel were converted into the Kino Center which had 4-screens with seating for 400, 300, 200 & 100. The Kino Center was in front of the main Railway Station Hauptbahnhof and was part of the Ufa chain operated by the Olympic Filmtheater Betriebs GmbH Heinz Riech. The Ufa chain by Heinz Riech in Hamburg operated the Ufa Palast Gansemarkt, City Filmtheater Steinfamm, Savoy Filmtheater Steindamm, Imperial Theater Reeperbahn, Aladin Kino Reeperbahn Oase Reperbahn, Studio Kino Bernsforf Strasse, Ufa Grindel Palast Grindelallee & Ufa Gloria Hamburg (all these have their own pages on Cinema Treasures).

In 1991 the Kino Center was split into 8-screens with 140, 304,220,100,52,60,44 & 81 seats. The Kino Center was closed in 1996 and was converted into retail stores.
