The building was moved from Fremantle Base Hospital(after World War I) to the South Beach Foreshore to be used for dance and concert venue and bathing suit hire and changing rooms on the ground floor and tea rooms on the upper floor. Opened in(January or December 1923?). Silent movies were sometimes screened on the dance/concert floor. Movie screenings ceased in(circa 1930’s?). Become rundown in the mid-1940’s, then the upper level was destroyed by a severe storm in the 1950’s. The rest of the building was demolished in 1969. What is there now(if anything?) is unknown? Also called South Beach Hydrodome.
