Cine Alameda

Located in the city centre. Construction began in 1975, but the Cine Alameda didn’t open until July 1978 with Jane Fonda in “Julia”. It was designed by architect Miguel Lopez and like many other cinemas in Spain it was at the base of an apartment building.

In its final years of operation it was screening adult movies and it was closed in 1984. It was converted into a discothque named Dada. This has since closed and by July 2018 it is in use as a clothing store named Massimo Dutti.
