The Central Drive-In launched May 30, 1952 two miles northwest of Stayton in Sublimity, on the Aumsville-Stayton cutoff. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Elam and Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Burnett operated the theatre which showed double-features each night. It was a 16mm operation. It had closed by 1955.

It may not have lasted until 1955.
A 1954 aerial shows no indication of a drive-in along the road in the area indicated in the description. Nor can I find a drive-in anywhere in the town. But then again, I can always miss something.
