On September 13, 1953, Billboard wrote, “The new Triangle Drive-In has been opened at Ozona, Tex., by W. V. Adwell. The drive-in has a capacity of 200 cars. Adwell also operates the Ozona Theatre and Ranch Theatre there”.
The 1955-56 Theatre Catalog listed the Triangle Drive0In with a capacity of 150 cars, owner W. V. Adwell.
In a 1966 aerial, the drive-in was still intact, just west of the intersection of State Highway’s 137 and 163. By a 1996 aerial, the screen was gone. Today, only the base of the concession / projection stand remains.
