On August 23, 1952, Billboard wrote, “Swift Current, Sask., now has its first drive-in, the Swift Current Drive-In, owned and operated by Douglas Burke and Robert Dahl”.
The 1955 Motion Picture Almanac included “Drive-In” under Swift Current, capacity 250, owner “Frontier Ent. (D. J. Borke)”.
