Princess Theatre

This theatre appears on the 1910 map, operating in the southernmost storefront of a large two-story brick building containing an opera house. The opera house was located on the second floor, with three storefronts below. It was built sometime between 1892 and 1899. On the 1905 map, the theatre space is a furniture store. The Princess Theatre was still open in 1926. It had closed by 1927.

Unfortunately, later maps have not been scanned, but today the building is either mostly or completely demolished. A messy collection of one-story buildings in various states of decay occupies the lot today. These may be the remains of the ground floor. There are no addresses on the map, but it would be an even number somewhere below 34, likely 26 or thereabouts.
