Graham and Danielson opened a theatre for African-American audiences in Dade City. The theatre was built in 1926 and opened nameless in 1927. The operators offered a prize to the one who came up with the most appropriate moniker. The winner was the patron who suggested Roosevelt Theater. The Roosevelt Theatre was still open in 1949.
