F.J. “Chick” Calve and R.P “Bob” Brown of Denver had changed the Strand to the Rainbo Theatre for a few weeks in 1939 but were gone in short order as the venue reopened again as the Strand. But Chick and Bob came back for a second stab on August 2, 1941 with “Kitty Foyle” and the Strand again becoming the Rainbo. Turned out there was no pot of gold for the Rainbo as the pair bailed for the second time on May 4, 1942.
