The Starlite Drive-In was opened in late-May 1952. Costing $85,000 it was operated by Robert Lowrey. It was equipped with RCA speakers and the screen was 54ft x 40ft. By 1955 it was operated by Malco Theatres. It was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1968.
