Moving Picture World, December 18, 1915: “Marlin, Tex., has a new house, the Orpheum Theatre, under the management of C. P. Lewis. Mr. Lewis now has four houses in that city: Orpheum Theatre, Dixie Theatre, Majestic Theatre and one for the colored gentry”.

Moving Picture World, March 2, 1918: “Marlin, Tex. — B. F. Lewis, formerly operating the Dixie Theatre here, has removed to Goose Creek in the South Texas oil fields”.
