A photo in the August 6, 1982 edition of the Yucca Valley Hi-Desert Star reported that the “Encore Cinema is now open in the Stater Brothers Center in Yucca Valley. Owners Paul and Collen Rich plan to show some great movies of the past, as well as some recent favorites.”
The Encore Cinema stopped appearing in the newspaper in early-1983.
