This beautiful historic theatre dates back to its opening in 1817 and was designed by architect Giuseppe del Rosso. It is in the historic center of the city, near the Duomo. Festivals of films have also been shown here. The auditorium has seating on the main orchestra floor and on four levels of horseshoe shaped balconies which contain 80 private boxes. It was renovated and reopened in 1997.
