William J. Schmitt and Alexander Pfeiffer, trustees of Series F Mortgages, sold the Metro Theatre at 2255-59 Webster Avenue, corner of Ford Street, in the Bronx, to A. Cuneo for cash. Assessed at $140,000, the property is 100 by 125 feet and was sold in a deal negotiated by G. Satriale Son, brokers.

The Metro Theatre was built for the Consolidated Theatres chain and the architect was Israel Crausman. It opened on 20th October 1927 and closed in May 1952. Seating was arranged in a stadium style (with no overhanging balcony)
