Closer look at original tilework and the distinctive ticket booth in the foyer. The stained glass panels around the top of the booth are alternating amethyst and amber, and are the same as the roof of the original stained glass and steel canopy which used to grace the entrance. The oldtimers tell us that when the lights were on, not only the name of the theatre around the canopy made up of pieced stained glass lit up, but that rays of alternating amethyst and amber were projected onto the facade of the building through the roof of the canopy.
