The New Art Cinema 3 complements the New Art Cinema 1 & 2 just a few steps down Commercial Street and provides an extra screen that could not be accomodated in the other cinema. It is located on the second floor of Whalers Wharf, a complex of shops and eateries serving the tourist clientele. The programming is of the art house variety.

New Art 1 & 2 are closed during the winter off-season, but New Art 3 is open all year round.
I asked the workers at Cinema 1 and 2 and Cinema 3 has 72 seats.
This is the place where the old Provincetown Theatre used to stand.
Currently this is the only operating movie theatre in Provincetown, since the two-screen New Art Cinema 1&2 across Commercial Street has been put to other uses.
