The Rex Theatre was built prior to 1941 (exact date and year unknown) and was used for movies and vaudville. It was destroyed by fire in the late 1940’s and demolished many years after. New Jersey Bell Telephone later erected a building on the site. A video production company now occupies the Bell Telephone site.
