The Hi-Vue Drive-In was opened prior to 1955, when it was operated by Rowley Theatres Ct. It had a capacity for 300 cars, and 25 seats for walk-in patrons. Deserted and wind blown this one was for sale the last time that I saw it. All things considered, the screen was holding up pretty well, but the concession stand was trashed. It sits outside of town on the west side.

When I went by the Hi-Vue a couple years back, It was in Sad shape. The “Snack Bar” was about ready to fall over. Rotting wood! It has been closed for about 30 years..

It is to bad that drive-in cannot be reopened and start screening movies again!!!
