The Hudson Theater is listed in 1935 as closed with 565 seats.

Those Library of Congress photos show the ornate pressed tin ceiling still intact. Unfortunately the google photo of that address shows that the theatre portion of the complex has been demolished. Status should be changed accordingly.

If you go to the building today you can still see the former entrance- a tin facade has an HT monogram, and the cement sidewalk still says HUDSON THEATER in red and white.

A Wurlitzer organ Opus 851 Style 108 was installed in the Hudson Theater on 6/30/1924.
