The Barclay Square Theatres 6 was opened by Carisch Theatres on December 21, 1984. It featured matiness on weekends and during the summer months as well as hosting special events. Located on Salem Road across from the Apache Mall. Carmike also has a multiplex in the Apache Mall. The Barclay Square Theatres closed on February 16, 2004.

This theatre closed sometimes during 2004, no longer listed at www.carmike.com or movies.yahoo.com. there are 2 other theatres with a total of 22 screens.
The actual closing date is February 16, 2004. Throughout its history, it was first operated by Carisch Theatres, then Excellence Theatres, and finally Carmike.
The Barclay Square 6 opened in the early-1980s, although I cannot find a lot of info about it, but one of the theater’s first few managers is Bob Toogood, who also is a former direct manager of the nearby Apache Mall Theatre there as well.
