Uptown Theatre AKA RKO Uptown. Detroit, MI.

The Uptown Theater designed by Kohner & Payne opened in 1926 as the Mack Uptown Theater. Around 1959 it was sold and renamed the Uptown Theater which closed in 1963.

A Wurlitzer theater organ opus 1547 style 235 was installed in the Uptown Theater on 12/30/1926.

Why not give the sources of your photobucket photos so that credit can be given to whom credit is do.
For sometime this Uptown was under the RKO banner.
