Milan cinemas added to Cinema Treasures
There were NO Milan cinemas on Cinema Treasures, so recently (12-30), I added 17. Most interesting:
MANZONI, with links to photos of amazing 1950 lobby and auditorium, but sadly closed.
PRESIDENT with a sleek Moderne style lobby.
Others:
De Amicis
Ambasciatori
Anteo Spazio
APOLLO with its stylistic auditoruim
Ariston
Arcobaleno (Rainbow)
Arlecchino
Cavour
CENTRALE hidden down a quaint alleyway
Coralle of many cinemas now turned fashion shops on what was Milan’s Little Broadway
Multisala Excelsior
Mediolanum
Metropol
Pasquirolo
Multisala Splendor
The few that were divided up or built as twins or 3 screens have individual names for each auditorium! THANKS to Roloff and ephemerol83 for photo sets of Milan cinemas they posted on flickr and thanks to Raul Belinchon for the Manzoni auditorium photo (and other great photos of theaters).
There’s at least another 20 more to add, as 37 Milan cinemas are listed below, in the event anybody would like to continue with this task!

Here’s a set of photos of closed Milan cinemas.
