FENTON, MI — The Fenton Cinema, closed since 2008, may reopen soon. The management of the US 23 Drive-in Theatre has made an offer for the shuttered cinema according to the real estate company handling the sale.
A new Facebook page for the Fenton Cinema was created here on May 18th to gauge reaction which has been positive with at least 500 likes. If the sale is successfully completed, the closed cinema will be extensively renovated and receive a new name.
A previous attempt to acquire the cinema by a Tyrone Township man last February was unsuccessful from the report here.
Details about the possible sale can be found from WEYI and the Flint Journal.
