Theater stuff for sale
We have a variety of theater seats for sale. Different sizes and colors avaliable. 500+ including rocker backs. Not so many end caps. No reasonable offer refused.
Most were taken fron Cinema 5 theater in Wellington, Kansas. We also have theater speakers, amps. A screen or two, projectors, platters and trees. We also have a theater popcorn machine and tons of popcorn bags if anyone is interested.
I welcome emails with questions and can take more photos if requested. Am sending a photo of some of the seats.

Historic Granada Theater to go on sale
BEAVER FALLS, PA — The Granada Theater might be for sale again at a fraction of the selling price of $90,000. Current owners have done some work to the marquee and have fixed most of the major leaks in the building. This is a rare atmospheric theater that was built in 1930.

Robert Morton 4/14 for sale
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The Neighborhood Church which has owned and maintained a 1928 4/14 Robert Morton with many percussions and a 2M 2nd consoul since 1949 (no major rebuilds) is looking for a buyer of this fine piece of history. It was played untill a year ago. It came from the California Theater in Pittsburg, CA.

Would be perfect for a small theatre, church or ? We have unbolted them from the floor and they are ready to haul. We can assist with loading, and possibly delivery.

Wanted: Old 35mm carbon arc movie projectors etc.
I am a collector seeking vintage 35mm projection and sound equipment. I am looking for old carbon arc lamp-houses, soundheads, picture heads, pedestals etc. Also older tube type amplifiers, speakers, horns, speaker cabinets etc.

I will travel to pick up equipment and am experienced with dismantling large heavy projectors and safely removing such equipment from projection booths. I also have duplicate projectors available to trade with other collectors.

“General Cinema Corporation” - 1994 book written about it’s history
Just stumbled on the book “The Making of Harcourt General” written by an author named Pruitt who was commissioned by General Cinema Corporation to chronicle it’s history from their very beginnings through their later days, including the purchase of publisher Harcourt.
Strand Books, Broadway, NYC, has a copy for sale and it looks quite interesting. Some public libraries also have it.
Anybody know why GCC never opened theaters in Long Island? Was it already too saturated possibly?
