Bijou By The Bay officially opens October 11
TRAVERSE CITY, MI — After completing the conversion of the former Con Foster Museum into Bijou By the Bay in time for the Traverse City Film Festival, additional touches were made to the theater in preparation for its official grand opening on October 11.
One controversial detail was how the marquee would be designed. Objections were raised regarding having moving lights on the marquee. It was decided that the marquee would not have moving lights and the marquee would be lit only when the theater is open. It will serve as the second screen for the nearby State Theatre.
Additional details are available in the Ticker.
