Great pictures.Would have loved to gotten in there to look around,Could always use some more one-sheet frames, but i bet they gutted it first. Thanks for putting these on.
In our city certain Theatre chains got certain movies,ABC/Plitt got alot of Warner Bros. Georgia Theatres took all the United Artist product and Weis got Paramount.Sure it was the same way here in Durham.Time i got over to GCC in 1982 it seemed the product was split with everyone.
Thanks Justin.Prices will keep edging up.We all know it.I am happy i can go to our $2.00 Theatre and catch a movie.nothing to yell about, just a movie to watch. Most of the time a good print.
Odd running first and second run under one roof.Usually second run are cheaper tickets than first run movies.Separate admission for second run? just asking.
Justin you seem to like Horror and Sci-fi,have you ever thought of a top ten favorite Sci-fi and Horror movies to play here.I did it at National Hills Theatre.Sorry,JJD about the increases.I still grin when I think how folks griped when we went to 2.75 a seat for first run in the middle seventies. The madness has not stopped, guys.
Yes a REAL Cinema Treasure, not some huge 20 plex!

What is so special about Mr.Patten is his knowledge of the Fox Theatre and should be treated with respect.
