I think with 99.44% certainty that the ad that Ken posted 5/12/09 is for the drive in for the 1972 aerial shot linked to on 12/6/08. The vicinity of multiple railroad tracks to the North and South pinpoints it.
The 2800 W. Columbus address given in the header says this is the right drive in for this page. Columbus Ave is only a few blocks away from the site and 74th and South Western Ave mentioned in the ad.
Southwest Hwy is likely the old name for W Columbus Ave.
The address belongs to Patricia Leonard Photography. The build looks like it could have the old theater facade, but the building is way too shallow now. Could they have kept the old front part of the building? After a fire perhaps?
Should not be classified as demolished. Building appears to still be there, as there is a tenant there at that address. I hear people are just dying to get into the old place.
Looking at the modern Street View from the map link, the entire facade from about 10 feet on up looks totally different than the 1984 picture. At some point the marquee has to be replaced to make it look like a theater once again.
I’m thinking the 2002 photo above is the date the photo was posted, not taken. Google Earth Historical imagery shows the subdivision on West Dr, to be all built up by 1998.
Looks to be in the mid 100 block of W. Harris St. Outer building still looks there, I matched up the sign, rows of bricks above and below the sign, and missing bricks at the top row to identify. Not sure why the color in the picture is gray, other than Photoshopped to bring out the lettering on the sign.
Sign on the building says Coming Soon to this Site, so it looks like the building is slated for demolishing? Any idea if this was a theater. Has the look of one.
Looks like the space between Staples and the Book Bazaar is where the old theater was. Why is addressed as 403 Bank St when in the ACI picture above (4/5/2009) has an address of 415 and a street sign to the right of the building? At 403, the street sign would have been on the left side of the building as you face it.
Address should be changed to 437 3rd St. In the 2nd photo link above it shows Falls Credit Bureau at 427 (which is still there), next is Island Realty at 435, and the old theater is clearly marked next to the door at 437 3rd St. Marquee and vertical sign has been removed.
It’s way South of Titusville, just North of Cherrytree, PA. Remove everything from the Google search in the map link, and just try Cherrytree, PA and it gets you there.
Here’s the Auto Drive-In just North of town, Around 3000 block of Hwy 8.
On the map, go East to Franklin St, then go South maybe 1 block. The BK is right there, maybe 1 block from the old theater. Take the alleyway where the theater used to be and it puts you at BK’s back parking lot.
The old theater is to the West of the YMCA building on the map.
Building still there, looks like a Tattoo parlor now in it’s place. The marquee is long gone, but the front entry way and facade looks unchanged. 1223 Fond Du Lac Ave.
In the same building, off to the side of the old theater is an Auto shop, seen here:

Google and Bing shows the building still there, and I even found an address of a business at 929 W. 7th St.

Oooops, I meant mid 100 block of E. Harris St.

Also the 1967 ad that LM posted says corner of Bank and Gladstone. That’s a good 1 to 2 blocks away.
If you go to that intersection, you see this…

I guess I could put an iPod on my hood to relive the experience….

Thanks Ken, at least we have a aerial view of what the lot looked like, since no one else posted one. Quite a distance from the back row….

The America Theater is at 119 S. Center St, across the street where 120 is, is one big empty parking lot, so this is demolished.
The Auto Shop is where Hansen’s was in the old photo posted in the opening description.

In the story listed above the comments, I think a 21 by 511 foot long projection and concession stand is a bit far fetched :)
According to a 1995 satellite image, this is the position of the drive-in. Located around the 2100 block of Hwy 277, just North of town.
The white debris in a rectangle shape you see in the open field in the center of the screen was the projection booth and likely snack bar.
Property appears to be storage for farm implements, at least the front half. The grassy field behind the lot was for parking for the drive-in.

I thought aerial views served no purpose whatsoever?
Here’s a place South of town thats bears the land scars of a drive-in fan shape….

According to the link jwballer gave, the fire was in the flower shop next door, the theater suffered minor damage at most.
