What is that huge vechicle in the photo above?
Odd name, Zazz!! Why the name Zazz?
The Screen, projection plant, and speaker system came from Sixteeneth Street Drive-in at Mildura, Victoria, Australia.
The screen and Projection equipment and speaker equipment went to the Gayline Drive-in in Marangaroo, New South Wales, Australia.
I think this might be the same Gayline Drive-in listed in Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia. Marrangaroo is a town just outside of Lithgow.
There is a video of the Westview Drive-in(done by the Dubbo Regional Council) on You Tube.
Opened as 19/3/1911 as Nepean Open Air. Name changed to Forster Hall in 1919. Name changed to Nepean Picture Theatre in 1920.
Now Commonwealth Bank.
Which university?
May now be called American Exoress Open Air Cinema(running from 9/3/2018 to ¼/2018). Dogs will allowed there too.
Address is 8025 Goulburn Valley Highway, in the Shepparton suburb of Kialla. Postcode is 3631.
Has the new Angelica film Center opened yet? Was there ever any drive-in movie theatres in the District of Columbia(Washington DC) area?
Why the name 301?
Has the drive-in been demolished?
The drive-in was called Viewway it’s entire life, even though the Way drive-in group chain no longer existed in it’s last few years of operation.
Does anyone know why the concession stand caught fire during the demolition?
The Suxteenth Drive-in is the one at the bottom of the photo. The other drive-in at the top of the photo is the Crossroads Drive-in.
The drive-in in Parklea was called Skyline drive-in.
Boo!!
Lightning Ridge is a opal mining town like Cooper Pedy(in South Australia) which also has a drive-in.
Conrod Straight is part of the Mount Panorama Racecourse. I think it is 1.9km long?
The drive-in opened in 1972.
Did the cinema move somewhere else?
Why did Target need to take over the Entire mall(besides Mcdonalds)?
Is the second theatre building still there?
