Thanks to Mike Stillman for finding out that it became Furth Chapel in 1959, and closed for good in 2002 as Piser-Weinstein Menorah Chapel. It remained vacant since then. I was unable to get back to get auditorium photos.
It must have been a theater twice then, 1944 and later. Because it was Jefferson Super Mart in 1963, before it became the Paris Theater sometime before 1969. I added a 1963 photo before it was the Paris.
Here is another 1966 photo of the “Hello Dolly” run at the Shubert. But with Carol Channing instead of Eve Arden on the marquee, as pictured in LTS’s color photo link.
