Thanks to Mike Stillman for finding out that it became Furth Chapel in 1959, and closed for good in 2002 as Piser-Weinstein Menorah Chapel. It remained vacant since then. I was unable to get back to get auditorium photos.

An article dated today about the reopening. Apparently the liquor license was renewed without the Alderman’s knowledge.

It must have been a theater twice then, 1944 and later. Because it was Jefferson Super Mart in 1963, before it became the Paris Theater sometime before 1969. I added a 1963 photo before it was the Paris.
