I saw this on Western the other day. Kind of a surprise to see a new theater across the street from the Wiltern, but of course the latter doesn’t show films any more.
I remember seeing Jaws 2 in the summer of 78 in Somers Point, I think. There was a lot of hype about this film, believe it or not, and it actually made some money.
You’re talking about the bargain store on the northeast corner of Vermont and Gardena. I wouldn’t have guessed that was a theater. I will take a look inside.
Unfortunately the Chinese has become infested with comic book and movie characters, some of whom are aggressive about soliciting donations. It detracts from the people who just want to look at the theater and the footprints.

That’s interesting. I’ve driven past that building a hundred times, didn’t realize that that it was the old theater building. Thanks.
The marquee on Sepulveda Blvd says Arclight Beach Cities Cinema.

I was in Somers Point last month but I forgot to swing by here. Mr. Memory would be disappointed.

I guess no one at loopnet remembers vaudeville. They probably thought it was some kind of architectural style.

Is the Hustler building the former theater? I thought that was new construction.
Great story. I saw it at some theater in South Jersey, but I absolutely cannot remember where. Your list says the Towne 4, which makes sense.

Never went to this one.
Too late for Clara Bow, I guess.
I was at this theater yesterday. It was about ninety degrees, but Babies was showing and I couldn’t sit through a baby movie.
I was there, unfortunately. Lots of screaming. Sad scene.

On the Rave site the theater is called RC Enfield 12.

Any time. This theater is one of my favorites.
