This opened on December 23rd, 1965 with one outdoor and one indoor screen by Kerasotes. I have included the grand opening ad, aerials from 1970 and 1975. The ShowPlace opened on the site in 1997.

This cinema and the Parkway 8 both opened on November 8th, 1990 by Litchfield Theatres.

It opened as Cinema 10 and renamed Crossings (Sarasota Crossings) in 1999. Owners: 1990 Litchfield 1990-1997 Cobb Theatres 1997-1999 Regal 1999-2002 other owners 2002-2008 Sunstar

That right, In the Cortez Plaza EAST. It opened as Jerry Lewis Twin Cinema on Christmas day, 1971 and renamed in 1973 when the Jerry Lewis franchise fell apart.
