the forward was written by Barney Balaban and Sam Katz

the book is about 115 pages

In the case of Quebec City, which 98% of the population speak French, the IMAX was unable to book any hollywood IMAX movies like The Polar Express, which was packin'em in at the Paramount in Montréal and elsewhere, Is Famous Players planning to add an IMAX at StarCite Ste Foy nearby?

This theatre closed sometimes during 2004, no longer listed at www.carmike.com or movies.yahoo.com. there are 2 other theatres with a total of 22 screens.

a gym is opening in jan. 2005 in the auditorium section of the building, it is called club mansfield and the website is at clubmansfield.ca. it will be quite a gym.

This theatre closed on July 3,2003 when Famous Players paid a penalty to get out of the lease, shortly after, this theatre has been demolished to make room for an Future Shop and The Brick big box stores

a Call centre for Best Buy now occupies the Cathart side of the build since Aug 2004.

One thing that Mike Perju and Theatrefan did not notice that a 5-metre section of the sign had to be hualed away in June because it was about to fall over the main entry, it was reinstalled earlier this week.

as for the video projectors, there were replaced in time for “Sky Captain” but were not working… however the movie were presented in excellent conditions. score: movie 1 ads 0

oh yeah this theatre opened in late June 1999.

a Foot Locker store opened in the entryway of the Loew’s on June 7,2004, the main auditorium area with a seperate entrance on Mansfield is still “a vendre ou louer”

2 more screens will be built in the turquoise building on the right, from about 1990-1995 Famous Players had their eastern Canada head office on the top floor, a new elevator was installed for this office.

October 15, 1914 as the Globe, this theatre was a neighbourhood house and sometime Yiddish plays were performed there.
Timeline:
* 1932 renamed as Hollywood.
* 1965 renamed as Cinema D' Orsay
* 1969 renamed as Pussycat started adult programming
* 1981 renamed as L'Armour,

this is now the last adult cinema in Montréal.
