Approximate address is 4228 Old Highway 77, Brownsville, TX. The drive-in was located on the west side of the old highway with the screen facing NE and sitting next to the road and the waterway.

Today, there is a housing edition and apartments on the property with no trace left of the drive-in.

First, the address 129 VT-4A, Castleton, VT will more accurately map the location of the drive-in. You can still barely make out some of the ramps. https://goo.gl/maps/m3H9e

Second, there’s something not right or complete about the information to when the theater operated. According to a 2003 aerial overhead photograph, the drive-in already gone by that point in time having last been present in a 1994 aerial photo.

Based on that, either the drive-in was moved to another location or it did not last into the 21st century.

The address is 1536 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526. The drive-in appears to be intact in a 1971 aerial photo, but at some point afterwards was demolished.

Today, there is no trace of the drive-in left. https://goo.gl/maps/J4fZY

From looking at a 1966 aerial photo, the drive-in appears to have been demolished by that point in time.

Although the ramps are faint, it can be seen that in the back of the property another screen was present. https://goo.gl/maps/wrjdD

Kenmore commented about Citrus Drive-In on May 1, 2015 at 2:40 pm

If the dates are correct, then the Citrus Drive-In is currently being mislabeled as the “Juarez Drive-In” on this site. The drive-in located at 2430 U.S. 77 Business was established at least by 1953. It has been demolished, although the projection booth/concession stand appears to still be standing. https://goo.gl/maps/FsrYa

A closer street address is 2334 Milam St. In 1995, the screen and projector booth/concession stand was still up. Today, there is only the foundations of the screen and booth/stand left along with the ramps. https://goo.gl/maps/cDtQp

I found a drive-in west of Ruston at 7388 US-80 Grambling, LA. So, it may be the same one. Today, a church stands on the property, but you can still see the ramps. https://goo.gl/maps/sAB5y

The location of the Tower Drive-In was 607 Interstate 35 Business. The site is currently occupied by Comal Plaza and most of what was the drive-in is now a massive parking lot. There is no trace left of the drive-in. https://goo.gl/maps/IeNBS

Kenmore commented about Woodbridge Sunset Drive-In on Apr 17, 2015 at 2:22 pm

The address is 15095 Calla Ct, Woodbridge, VA. The drive-in appears to have been constructed some time after 1963 and lasted until at least 1981. By 1994, the property became the site of townhouses with a large open central area. However, there is no trace of the drive-in left. https://goo.gl/maps/yZfDK

Kenmore commented about Castle Rock Cinema on Apr 6, 2015 at 6:04 pm

928 Oakwood Ct, Castle Rock, CO 80104 is the addressed based on the topo maps I’ve seen of a drive-in situated just to the east of Castle Rock mountain.

Here is what the area looks like today. https://goo.gl/maps/iHYr0

This drive-in disappeared before 1980 and was replaced by this neighborhood, so the address is from that. What the old address was I do not know.

Approximate address is 1163 Pony Express HWY (HWY 36). The drive-in was located on the south side of the highway.

Today, the property holds at least one business with no traces of the drive-in remaining. However, there is an old marquee at the entrance to the business which may have been a part of the old drive-in. https://goo.gl/maps/dOKHy

Kenmore commented about Thunderbird Twin Theatre on Mar 24, 2015 at 10:39 am

Question: Was this theater really a “drive-in”? I’m asking because I see no evidence that it was, only that it was a typical walk-in twin theater.

A more accurate address (at least in terms of Google Maps) is 880 S Rohlwing Rd (HWY 53). The site of the drive-in is where “Ferguson” is now located, a large building. A strip mall is located on the east side of the property next to HWY 53. https://goo.gl/maps/2nidJ
