You know you’re right,I even worked as Assistant Mgr at GCC Georgia Sq.in Athens.All we had were UGA students,Never realize it until I read what you wrote.

When i was going throught the Archives I should have jotted down the issue in the Herald,but didn’t. I asummed it was a theatre in downtown Winnsboro.

You start getting into the 1974’s and you are getting in the begining of my Theatre years,“THE LONGEST YARD” shot in Georgia was a HUGE hit at National Hills Theatre.I had guys wanting me to slip them in for $10.00 with a date which was great money in 1974.

Chris 32.I would like to know why you watched “BILLY JACK” 10 times.I lost count counting the Boom mikes and such. If you framed the movie above the border during the part of the rape scene in the Car you will see her nipples.Most places it was hidden behind the bottom masking. I had a Projectionist at National Hills Theatre show me.those union projectionists!

Yeah, Charles wasn’t really the reason.And it was also getting old driving down every weekend after the Midnight show on Saturday and to come back on Monday morning.Charles had to have Zack’s car Cause he didn’t have one.So it was me driving dog bone beat after working 10 am saturday morning to 2 am Sunday morning.Quite frankly the Good Lord was with us cause I fought Sleep while Zack snored.I remember the lighting hitting the tree after we left his grave. My brother -in -law is a Nurse in Athens and he said Linda asked about you and Barry. I think I told you .Or maybe it was Barry whom still wants Us to get together.I think if I could have gotten Craig to stay over the weekend some I might have stayed longer and fallen in love with another Box Office girl.So glad you didn’t.we had plenty of Babes at Regency that you could always steal a Kiss from expect Carol,she hated me.

thanks plinfesty.I wish i had the time to do several theatres and Drive-ins in my city.I enjoy looking at the newspaper ads so much.Some of these titles you wonder if they even exist any more.Thanks I for one enjoyed them.
