Opened with “I’ve always loved you” and “Night Editor”.
A Costco presently stands where the Beltsville Drive-In formerly existed.
when I was in high school, I worked for a company called James A. Cassidy which was located in an industrial park behind the drive-in. Every so often we would go up on the roof and watch the XXX films. I’m pretty sure that this was before drive-ins began using radio waves to transmit sound, otherwise we could have listened to the cringe-worthy dialog. ‘’‘⌐(ಠ۾ಠ)¬’‘’

Yes, I can attest that they showed X rated films in the early 80’s. They would have about 4-5 X rated films back to back.
In the late 60’s this was showing X, it may have been soft core?
I grew up in Beltsville. I remember Beltsville Drive in quite well. I had a million chances to take photos of it but never did.
