Located on the corner of Abbott Boulevard & Columbia Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Originally opened as the Grant Lee Theatre by 1944, it is sometimes listed as being in Palisades, NJ. By 1950 it was operated by Liggett-Florin Booking Service.
After operating as an adult theatre in the 1970’s, it was renamed New Sharon Cinema on June 14, 1981 and screened mainstream movies until it closed in the late-1980’s. It has been converted into a shopping arcade named Sharon Plaza.
