Sad to see it closed. I worked there from 91 – 96 as both a usher and projectionist. I remember a few times seeing movies with my buddies after the bars closed. I had keys. It was strictly verboten but fun as hell. I remember seeing twister at about 3 in the morning and I completly cranked those speakers.
Uploaded pics from 2007. I had a friend who worked there and would show us movies after working 2nd shift on Thursday nights. Maybe it was you craiga? It was a great time- free popcorn, hot dogs and soda too. One time the movie he ran for us was right out of the shipping box- a pristine print! It might have been Gattaca but I could be wrong. If it was you craiga…thanks!
