Located on Route 130 South in what was then known as the Jamesway Shopping Center. This theater was opened by Music Makers on June 27, 1973 with “The Class of ‘72”. After the mall theaters opened on Route 1, this theater became a second run cinema. Many people would patronize this theater rather than drive to Route 1. In the 1990’s, it was run by Loews. After Regal built a 15 screen theater nearby in the late-1990’s, this cinema ran as an independent theater featuring Indian films. It closed on March 30, 2000. The theater was heavily gutted or demolished and is now part of the Burlington Coat Factory building.

I have an ad for this theater dated August 9, 1987. Loews was operating it then. Features were Summer School and Back to the Beach.
Listed as part of Music Makers Theatres, Inc. in the 1976 International Motion Picture Almanac. Location is listed as East Windsor.
It opened in 1973, I believe. My business agent in Trenton offered me some work there, but I took a gig in Atlantic City working mostly @ the Ventnor & Charles theatres.
Music Makers opened its 14th location in the Jamesway Shopping Center on June 27, 1973 with the film, “The Class of ‘72.” The single-screen The Cinema became the East Windsor Cinema until it was twinned. On May 26, 1976, it relaunched as the East Windsor Cinema Twin I & II. In 1986, Loews acquired Music Makers Circuit and renamed the theatre Loews East Windsor Cinema Twin which it operated until April of 1994. The theatre soldiered on for the Real Entertainment Circuit until closing on March 30, 2000 as the East Windsor Twin Cinema.
